With the TSAUTOP latest blank hydrographic film printing solution, the new TSLX1624 produces high-quality printing special for the printable hydro dipping film. The enhanced work efficiency combined with eco-solvent inks offers both ecological and economical benefits. It is equipped with a heating system that dries the media quickly after printing. So It can print the media continuously and roll it. The most exciting point is no need to spray activator A when using this printed hydrographics film. This blank hydrographics film printing solution makes custom hydro dipping simple and easy to do.
Not all ECO printers can print perfect water transfer film.

ECO INK PRINTER PRINTING GUIDE

IMAGE PREPARATION
1. Print on the coated side of the film. The coated side has a matte appearance.
2. When you print the blank hydrographic film, please set the pre and post platform temperature at 50℃ that ensure the film dries quickly.
3. Since using ECO solvent ink on the coated side, so please set the print speed at 8pass or 12pass which ensures the pattern is sharp and clear, and dry quickly. So it can print hydrographic film 2-4sqm/hour . But the printed film can be stored for a long time without spraying activator A.
4. This printed film doesn’t need to spray a light coat of lacquer, or fixative, to the printed side of the film. You can use it
directly after printing in 15days.

DIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut printed film to the size needed and then remove the clear backer.
2. The film is then placed on the water, printed side up.
3. Recommended water temperature is 90° F (25-32° C).
4. The film should dwell on the water for 60-75 seconds.
5. Spray with activator. this activator is a special formula for this printed film, so you can buy it with the film from my
company or you use the weaker activator than normal.
6. After hydro dipping the object, the PVA film is removed by rinsing with water. Warm water speeds up PVA removal, but the temperature should not exceed 120° F to be sure the image is not removed during rinsing.
7. After an object is rinsed, the surface should no longer feel slimy, so you need to wash it with pure water again until the
surface isn’t slimy. Please rinse the object with a high-pressure rinsing station for a longer period of time.
8. After PVA removal, allow the object to dry completely.
9. Apply your favorite clear coat for surface protection.

STORAGE
* Blank PVA film should be stored between 68°-75° F.
* It is suggested for relative humidity levels to be between 45-60%.

A1:ECO-Solvent ink inkjet printer TSLX1624 will work for hydrographic applications.

Q2:How long should film dwell in water in coordination with water temperature for hydro dipping?
A2:* It is recommended that the film soaks for 60 seconds at 25-30°C to achieve optimal results.
* Lower water temperatures can be used, but soak times should be increased.

Q3:What activators should be used with Hydrokon film?
A3:A ‘cool’ activator is recommended, such as:

Q4:Do we need to use Activator A with TSAUTOP Blank hydrographic film?

A5:* If using pigment-based inks Activator A is necessary, otherwise the inks will fall apart on the water and will not adhere to the object.

Q6:For small-scale projects, you can use Rust-Oleum Clear Lacquer Spray as the Activator A.
A6:Another alternative is using a clear basecoat/intercoat as the Activator A, commonly found in hydrographic paint companies.

Q7:How should TSAUTOP BLANK PVA film be stored?
A7:The film should be stored at 68°-75℉ OR 20-25℃ and 45-60% RH.

Q8:Where can I find artwork for printing hydrographics?
A8:* Anyone can create their own art using graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc.

Q9:How do I get sheets to lay flat before printing?
A9:If your sheets are showing curling, you can either use a steamer to add moisture so they lay flat or you can place them in a room with high humidity, like a bathroom with a hot shower running.
